Marios is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of international experience spanning mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, risk management, and operational transformation. At Moondust Ventures, he is instrumental in identifying, investing and nurturing high- potential MedTech startups. Marios leverages his deep understanding of emerging technologies and current healthcare challenges to champion disruptive innovation. He provides strategic guidance and hands-on mentorship, empowering entrepreneurs to achieve sustainable growth and create long-term value. Prior to founding Moondust Ventures, Marios was an investor and a BoD member at Progress Medical a.s., a leading healthcare provider in the Czech Republic, successfully exiting in 2020 following its acquisition by a NYSE-listed company. His career also includes senior leadership roles in Big 4 international consultancies and European banking institutions, where he focused on financial strategy and operational excellence. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, and Accounting from the University of Southampton, UK, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (FCA).
