Perfect Event is pleased to work with the lsbc brand, itself associated with various life science consulting activities in the UK and in the EU with a focus on Poland. The owner of the brand is LSBC(London) Limited.
The LSBC(London) Limited with some 30 associates is directed Dr Roland Kozlowski who has over 30 years’ experience in the life science industry as an academic (Oxford), bio-
entrepreneur, investor and government advisor (UK and Poland). Over the last decade he
has focused much of his effort on the Polish market and understands the Polish life science
sector from the perspective of a Western Practitioner. As part of his activity since 2011 he
has managed the intellectual aspects of this conference now in its 11 th edition.
Management of its practical aspects being entrusted to Perfect Event Sp. z o.o.: a Polish
events business.
The conference is a boutique “C” level event limited to around 120 participants and is
largely by invitation. The agenda of the conference is built by Roland Kozlowski and focuses
on issues topical for the given year. Approximately half the speakers at the conference are
drawn from the CE region and the other half globally (some previous agendas are shown on
this web site).
In the past Dr Kozlowski has invited many top-level delegates from blue chip organisation
such as Sofinnova, Forbion Quintiles GSK Pfizer AZ, and top flight biotech’s such as Ablynx.
Good quality CE region start-ups have in the past been asked to participate in a business
pitch competition.
In the past press has not been invited to the conference to ensure open debate.
Government sponsorship is only invited if there is no subsequent bias to the agenda. lsbc
relies heavily on sponsorship and the generosity of commercial partners to ensure its
viability. This year’s conference is being held in Association with Sano and in Partnership
with BBI which has agreed to provide a scholarship to its Life Sciences MBA for an Executive
from the company that wins the Company Pitch Competition.
The conference prides itself on high quality agenda, excellent networking opportunities in a
convivial atmosphere in the Historic City of Krakow. This year’s top-level theme is “This
year’s top-level theme is: “The DNA of capital – Cracking the code of life science investment
in volatile times” and the agenda includes the following panels:
