Juan’s experience is in scientific management, technology transfer and venture funding in the biotechnology and the pharmaceutical industry. In 2013, founded the Biotechnology Business Institute, where he is Chairman. Since then, he has enabled and reviewed more than 250 new business plans in drug discovery and medical devices, working with different research centres and early-stage biotech companies from across Europe, Latam, North America and Asia Pacific while developing talent worldwide. In parallel to his current role, Juan has experience in participating at many relevant Life Sciences' conferences and congresses across Europe and the United States, as well as other innovation hubs and regions such as Israel, Colombia, Chile, Mexico, Indonesia, and middle east. He is a speaker, expert jury member and a moderator of debates over emerging trends in our sector. Also, he is board member of the AnlgoNordic Life Sciences conference since 2022.
